Seattle Firefighters Endorse Team Steinbrueck 9/5/17.
In a heated race, the Seattle Firefighters have chosen who they want advocating for them at the Port of Seattle, Peter Steinbrueck.
The Seattle Firefighters have worked alongside Peter during his years on the Seattle City Council and know him for his strong leadership and work ethic. Now that Peter is running for public office again, they are getting behind their former ally again.
Peter Makes it Through the Primary 7/31/17.
Among 7 other candidate, I have made it into the General Election.
The people of King County spoke with their ballots, and they want a Port Commissioner who will provide experienced and transparent leadership to ensure we green the port and keep the family wage jobs growing. That is exactly what I plan to do if elected. I will work very hard to keep growing the high paying jobs that the port provides, seriously downsize the port’s enormous environmental footprint, and bring stronger ethical leadership. If you are like me, and want to combat climate change from our own backyard and ensure economic stability for our future generations, then join me as this campaign embarks on the last leg of the race.
